Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

However, foggy conditions are likely to develop over plain areas of Punjab during night and morning hours.

Temperatures of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad six degree centigrade, Lahore eleven, Karachi fifteen, Peshawar eight, Quetta three, Gilgit minus one, Murree four and Muzaffarabad five degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and cold weather is expected in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, cold and dry in Jammu, Shopian and Baramula while very cold and partly cloudy in Leh.

Temperature recorded this morning:

Srinagar, Pulwama and Anantnag one degree centigrade, Jammu ten, Leh minus seven, Shopian and Baramula zero degree centigrade.
