Korean Ambassador performs ground breaking of Pak-Korea Nutrition center at UAF costing over $9m

Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Suh Sangpyo performed the ground breaking of Pak-Korea Nutrition center at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad.

Speaking on the occasion, the Korean Ambassador termed this project a hallmark step to address the issue of malnutrition with a special focus on mothers and children.

Suh Sangpyo said Pakistan and Korea enjoy deep friendship and measures are being taken to further strengthen it.

The Korean Ambassador also expressed solidarity with the people affected by the floods.

Meanwhile, UAF Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Iqar Ahmad Khan said the Pak-Korea Nutrition Center will be established at a total cost of $9.659 million, of which 7 million dollars will be provided by KOICA and 2.659 million dollars will be provided under the Public Sector Development Program of the Planning Commission, Government of Pakistan.
