Israeli warplanes strike targets in Gaza

Gaza (UNA-OIC) Israeli warplanes attacked early Wednesday targets in the northern Gaza Strip, causing serious damage but no injuries were reported.

The warplanes fired three missiles at boats in Gaza Marina causing fire and destroying them in total, WAFA reported. Israel claimed the boats were being prepared to join a flotilla of ships expected to sail to Gaza from Europe next month in a show of solidarity with the besieged sea enclave.

The warplanes also bombed a location east of Gaza City near a cemetery causing damage to nearby homes and another location east of Jabaliya causing a fire.

The residents reported extensive activity of Israeli warplanes and drones flying at low altitude over Gaza during the night.
