The General Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Protection announced in its awareness message transmitted in cooperation with Saudi Press Agency (SPA) about the Air Quality Index during the Hajj season of this year 1439H in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, and Holy Sites on Monday as follows:
Makkah: Moderate.
Arafat: Good.
Mina: Moderate.
Muzdalifah: Moderate.
Madinah: Good.
Jeddah: Good
The air quality index, which is considered according to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for the Arab States as the air quality standard for measuring the ambient air quality, including Ground Ozone, Sulfur Dioxide, Dust Particles, Nitrogen Dioxide, or Carbon Dioxide.
