Lahore: Minister for Housing and Works Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada has reiterated the government’s commitment to tackling the country’s escalating housing crisis by fostering public-private partnerships.
According to Radio Pakistan, the minister made these remarks while speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the international building and construction industry exhibition and conference 2025 in Lahore. He highlighted the alarming shortage of more than ten million housing units across the country.
Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada emphasized that the government is actively taking concrete steps to address the issue. These measures include promoting housing finance, enhancing partnership opportunities, and formulating inclusive policies that cater to public needs.
