Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says government believes in freedom of media and is making all out efforts to solve problems faced by journalists.

She was talking to a delegation of Murree Press Club that called on her in Islamabad today.

The Minister said government is fully aware of problems of journalists.

She said practical steps are being taken for group insurance of journalists and important amendments are being made regarding the payment of salaries to journalists.

Marriyum Aurangzeb assured the delegation that their issues including training programs and safety of journalists will be solved.
