Islamabad: The government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products for the upcoming fortnight. The adjustments in pricing are aimed at providing some relief to consumers amid fluctuating global oil markets.

According to Radio Pakistan, the price of High Speed Diesel has been decreased by four rupees, bringing it down from 284 rupees and forty-four paisas per litre to 279 rupees and sixty-five paisas per litre. Similarly, the price of petrol has seen a reduction of two rupees, moving from 265 rupees and forty-five paisas per litre to 263 rupees and forty-five paisas per litre.

These new prices are set to take effect starting today (Monday), offering immediate financial relief to consumers across the country.
