European Union Special Representative for Human Rights Eamon Gilmore called on Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Islamabad on Monday.

The Foreign Minister said on the occasion that socio-economic agenda of our government, including creation of job opportunities and women empowerment is very close to GSP Plus scheme. He said Pakistan is determined to fully enforce all the 27 conventions relating to GSP Plus.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed Pakistan's resolve to protect human rights and fundamental freedoms.

The Foreign Minister also urged the European Union to take grave human rights violations in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir at the hands of Indian security forces.
