Dry Weather Expected Across Most Regions with Cold Conditions in Hilly Areas


Islamabad: Dry weather is anticipated to prevail over most parts of the country, with cold conditions expected in hilly areas over the next twelve hours.



According to Radio Pakistan, the persistent dry weather is contributing to atmospheric pollution, particularly affecting the districts in eastern Punjab, where smog is likely to remain a concern. As a precaution, citizens are advised to take necessary measures to protect themselves from potential health risks.



The morning temperatures in major cities were recorded as follows: Islamabad at thirteen degrees Celsius, Lahore at nineteen, Karachi at twenty-six, Peshawar at fifteen, Quetta at ten, Gilgit at five, Murree at nine, and Muzaffarabad at eleven degrees Celsius.



In the region of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast predicts dry and cold conditions during the night in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Meanwhile, Leh is expected to experience cold and dry weather, and Jammu is expected to remain dry. The recorded temperatures this morning were seven degrees Celsius in Srinagar, Pulwama, and Shopian, seventeen in Jammu, minus three in Leh, and six in Anantnag and Baramula.
