Islamabad: Faisal Karim Kundi, Deputy Speaker National Assembly during his recent visit to India met with Jai Siraiki Community originally hailing from Dera Ismail Khan and who were migrated to India in 1947 at SKR Public School Bohrianwala Thailla, Inderpuri, New Dehli.
Talking to Siraiki Community the Deputy Speaker said that dialogue between the Parliamentarians of Pakistan and India were remained progressive. He said that the main focus of the dialogue to strengthen the relations between tow neighbour countries and ease visa restrictions so that the people leaving across the border could easily travel between the two country. He said that Pakistan Government wanted good relations with India as it was in the best interest of both the countries and imperative for peace and stability of the region.
The Deputy Speaker underlined the need for enhance people to people contact and interaction between the parliamentarians of both the countries The Deputy Speaker said that Pakistan’s Government is pondering to establish more provinces in the country. He said that there was a proposal under consideration to establish a separate Siraiki province.
He said that he is trying his level best for inclusion of Dere Ismail Khan in Siraiki Province as 90% population of Dera Ismail Khan are Siraiki Speaking.
Earlier the Deputy Speaker National Assembly was wormally welcomed by the children and administration of SKR Public School and a colourful cultural programme were performed by the children of the School in honour of Deputy Speaker.
