Multan: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited Nishter Hospital Multan and suspended six officials including the MS Nishter Hospital Multan and head of the nephrology department on severe negligence. She took action against doctors and nurses for spreading AIDS during dialysis. The Chief Minister personally investigated the incidents of AIDS spread among dialysis patients. Maryam Nawaz said that used syringes are the biggest reason for the spread of AIDS. She inspected the cardiology and other wards. According to Radio Pakistan, the suspension of the officials came as a result of the Chief Minister's direct involvement in the investigation, highlighting her commitment to addressing the negligence. Her visit aimed to ensure that health standards were being maintained and that patients' safety was prioritized. The Chief Minister's inspection of the hospital wards further indicated her dedication to improving healthcare facilities in the region.
