At the United Nations Pakistan has expressed its firm commitment to empower women in all walks of life.

Addressing a virtual event to celebrate achievements of Pakistani women at the United Nations, Pakistan's permanent Representative to the United Nations Munir Akram said despite challenges, Pakistan is a strong country and a resilient nation as women in Pakistan are empowered.

Ambassador Akram said that Pakistan had ensured empowerment of women in the economic, social, and political spheres in line with its commitment to the women.
