Amir Muqam urges Afghanistan to play role in promoting regional peace

Advisor to Prime Minister on Political, Public Affairs Amir Muqam has demanded of the Afghan government to play its role in establishing peace in the region.

He was talking to Afghan Consul General Hafiz Mohib in Peshawar where matters pertaining to Pak-Afghan bilateral relations came under discussion.

Amir Muqam informed Hafiz Mohib about public concerns regarding the current worsening law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly in Swat district.

Both the leaders agreed for maintaining liaison among the concerned authorities of the two countries for ensuring durable peace in the region.

Meanwhile,  Amir Muqam visited Urmur Bala near Peshawar and offered Fateha for the departed souls of PMLN local leader Sheraz Khan and three others.
