4th International Scientific Conference Showcases Research at Rawalpindi Women University


Islamabad: The 4th International Scientific Conference, themed “Revamped Scientific Outlook of the 21st Century,” was successfully held at Rawalpindi Women University. The event served as a platform for local and international researchers, scientists, industrialists, teachers, and students to present their research papers and engage in discussions on emerging scientific dimensions.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Vice Chancellor of Rawalpindi Women University, Professor Dr. Bushra Mirza, inaugurated the conference by emphasizing the importance of a robust research culture in defining and developing a university’s identity. She highlighted the necessity of establishing strong connections between academia and industry to meet modern-day challenges.



The conference’s Chief Guest, Professor Dr. Shahid Mahmood Baig, who leads the Life Sciences Department at Health Services Academy in Islamabad, praised the university’s significant contributions to advancing research in Pakistan. He acknowledged the institution’s efforts in fostering an environment conducive to scientific exploration and innovation.



Concluding the event, the Chairman of the Pakistan Science Foundation, Professor Dr. Muhammad Akmal, addressed the participants. He underscored the urgency of reassessing the education system and advocated for the integration of practical training into the educational framework, preparing students for real-world applications of their academic knowledge.
