The 21st anniversary commemoration ceremony of 9/11 terrorist attacks will take place at the Memorial plaza in New York on Sunday.

Family members of 9/11 victims will once again gather on the Memorial plaza to read aloud the names of those killed in the 9/11 attacks in the 2001 World Trade Center bombing.

On this day in 2001, terrorists crashed two hijacked planes into the World Trade Center in New York City which consequently raised to ground, the third plane into the Pentagon in Virginia; whereas the fourth plane crashed down in a field in Pennsylvania.
