IIOJK: APHC asks India to facilitate settlement of Kashmir dispute as per UN resolutions

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has urged the international community to stop India from fiddling with the demographic composition of the territory and warned that protection of the territory’s unique identity is an issue of life and death for the Kashmiri people.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference in a statement issued in Srinagar said India has playing with fire by conspiring to change the disputed nature of Jammu and Kashmir, especially after the illegal and unilateral actions of 5th August 2019.

The statement urged India to revert its August 2019 action and facilitate the settlement of the Kashmir dispute as per relevant UN resolutions in the interest of peace in the South Asian region.

Meanwhile, a group of civil society activists and lawyers through an online petition has urged the international human rights organizations to intervene against the Modi regime’s cruel policy of snatching and demolishing Kashmiris’ properties and terminating the local employees from government services to render Jammu and Kashmir economically crippled.
