SINDH GOVT TO SET UP OLD-AGE HOMES TO PROVIDE SHELTER TO SENIOR CITIZENS

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah says his government will build old-age homes to provide shelter to the senior citizens at a cost of more than 75 million rupees.

Chairing a meeting in Karachi on Thursday, he said Sindh Government has also passed a bill for the rights of senior citizens.

The meeting also reviewed agenda of upcoming meeting of Council of Common Interest.

The agenda items include higher education, import of LNG, sixth census, approval of 1200 cusec additional water for Karachi, welfare of senior citizens and implementation of constitution's article 154.
