Punjab University Law College Principal Sami Ozair appointed chairman of committee to revise legal education system
Lahore: Punjab University Law College Principal Sami Ozair has been appointed as the Chairman of Committee to revise legal education system in the country. In this reference, meetings have been called at Lahore High Court and Sindh High Court in which 35 deans and heads of public and private Law Colleges of the country have participated and discussed to reform legal education system.
Terming the PU Law College as role model, Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Ijaz Chaudhry has said under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran and the administration of Law College had taken steps for improvement of academic programme of the Punjab University.
He expressed his pleasure on upgrading the standard of legal education at Law College. The next meetings of the committee will be held at Quetta and Peshawar and the final report will be presented to Honourable Chief Justice of Pakistan.
